The PPD-10 Hitchhiker Storage Container (also HSC) is a container and can be manned with 4 Kerbals.

Usage
As of 0.21, you can fill the Hitchhiker Storage Container from within the assembly building using the crew tab.
The main uses of storage containers are:
- Crew quarters aboard space stations
- Rescuing stranded Kerbonauts and bringing them home
Interior
There has been some speculation that the image from the KSP Weekly game development report from March 19th 2013 is the interior of the HSC, which has proven true in 0.21.
