Kerbol (také známý jako Kerbin Prime, Slunce, nebo Hvězda) je hvězda v centru Kerbolí soustavy. Obíhá kolem něj pět planet: Moho, Eve, Kerbin, Duna, Jool a dvě trpasličí planetky Eeloo a Dres.
V porovnání s naším Sluncem je Kerbol 113 krát lehčí a 3 krát menší. Kerbol is likely a K Class main sequence star based on its temperature, but it may also be an M class star based on its radius, or a G class star based on its luminosity. It may also be a large white dwarf.
Orbiting just above the surface gives an orbital period of 409.214 Minutes and a speed of 66.945 km/s.
