The Mission Control is a symmetrical and rectangular structure located between the Vehicle Assembly Building and the Runway. The stairs on either sides can be climbed, but nevertheless lead to dead ends.

The building is staffed by Gene Kerman and is used for getting and viewing contracts. Prior to version 0.24 it was not possible to enter the building or use it in any way. The name was only retrieved by colliding parts into it and then checking the log.
The interior resembles NASA's Mission Control (seen in the Kerbal Space Center trailer[1])
