The '''Advanced Nose Cone - Type B''' is a part introduced in version 1.0.  It has 2.5× the mass but just 70% the drag of the "[[Aerodynamic Nose Cone]]" (as of KSP version 1.2.2). Its slanted shape provides no lift. Its shape means it is commonly found on radially mounted boosters facing inward to reduce drag.

The Advanced Nose Cone - Type B is the angled version of the Advanced Nose Cone - Type A. It has 2.5× the mass but just 70% the drag of the "Aerodynamic Nose Cone" (as of KSP version 1.2.2). Its shape means it is commonly found on radially mounted boosters facing inward.

Product description

Useful for boosters - the slanted shape is good for leading pressure away from the core stages.
