The Mk3 to 3.75m Adapter is a Mk3 to 3.75m adapter and fuel tank containing liquid fuel and oxidizer mixture.

It has the same mass and fuel capacity as the Mk3 Rocket Fuel Fuselage Short.

Product description

An adapter for when your craft turns from a massive rocket into a gargantuan plane!

C7 Aerospace Division

Usage

The Mk3 to 3.75m Adapter is used to provide a seamless connection between Mk3 and 3.7.5m parts, allowing 3.75m parts such as engines and fuel tanks to be attached to a Mk3 craft (such as a spaceplane).

The adapter can also be used on rockets to attach exclusively Mk3 parts, such as the Mk3 Liquid Fuel Fuselage Long or the Mk3 Cargo Bay CRG-100, onto a 3.75m rocket.

The Mk3 to 3.75m Adapter is also a rocket fuel tank containing liquid fuel and oxidizer. It can be used to power liquid fuel rocket engines, like the RE-L10 "Poodle" Liquid Fuel Engine. It can be placed both in-line and radially mounted.

When full, one tank can power a single RE-L10 "Poodle" Liquid Fuel Engine for up to 171.6 seconds at full thrust, or a single closed-cycle CR-7 R.A.P.I.E.R. Engine for up to 207.7 seconds at full thrust.

At 2600K, its heat tolerance is slightly lower than that of most Mk3 parts. However, it is still higher than the heat tolerance of the average 3.75m part.
