The R-12 'Doughnut' External Tank is a liquid fuel tank containing liquid fuel and oxidizer.

It carries 60% of the capacity of the FL-T100 Fuel Tank.

Product description

An unconventionally shaped (but undoubtedly handy) fuel tank.

Probodobodyne Inc

Usage

The R-12 'Doughnut' External Tank is a liquid fuel tank containing LF/O mix. This allows it to power liquid fuel rocket engines, like the 48-7S "Spark" Liquid Fuel Engine. If there are multiple liquid fuel tanks connected to an engine, then they will all be drained equally to power it. [1] The Doughnut must be placed in-line, and cannot be radially mounted.

When full, one tank can power a single LV-1 "Ant" Liquid Fuel Engine for up to 465.5 seconds at full thrust, or a single 48-7S "Spark" Liquid Fuel Engine for up to 47.0 seconds at full thrust.

Because of the hole in the tank, an engine (such as the Spark) placed above the fuel tank can provide full thrust while burning through the hole.

Variants

As of version 1.10 this fuel tank has two variants that can be switched in the editor.
