The 2HOT Thermometer displays temperature to 5 significant figures when activated and right-clicked.
Usage
The temperature rises if you fire an engine. No methods are known to reduce temperature (except, of course, to go to space or to stop firing your engine(s), though this can be mitigated by attaching parts as "heat sinks." The 2HOT also measures the ambient temperature. This can be used to determine atmosphere temperatures. Currently (0.18.4), sunlight doesn't seem to affect temperature at all - the temperature at day is identical to the temperature at night. Even if you are really close to Kerbol temperature does not change.
While active, the thermometer drains 0.0075 Electric Charge per second (27 E/hr).
