The Radiator Panel (small) is a part introduced in version 1.0.4. It is designed to be placed around the exterior of the rocket to dissipate heat without the bad aerodynamics and fragility of the Thermal Control System (small). In the Career and Science game modes, it is popular for cooling solid rocket boosters like the RT-10 Solid Fuel Booster due to its low science cost and the boosters' tendency to overheat.
