Usage
The Rockomax HubMax Multi-Point Connector offers a point to connect objects in six different directions.
Despite the name implying that this part can be used for docking, it cannot dock with other parts without additional parts. A docking port needs to be placed on the HubMax to allow docking to this part. For large structures, the Rockomax Brand Adapter 02 can be used to attach Clamp-O-Tron Sr. Docking Ports instead of the standard Clamp-O-Tron Docking Ports.
While the HubMax provides a stable, single-part connector, it is also very heavy. Therefore, while it may be helpful for constructing space stations and other stationary vessels, its high mass makes it ill fitted for spaceships where delta-V is a concern. Other, lighter options for perpendicular part placement are the smaller The Not-Rockomax Micronode and the single BZ-52 Radial Attachment Point.
