The Big-S Delta Wing is a part introduced in version 1.0. It is modeled closely after the Space Shuttle wings. It can optionally hold Liquid fuel, which is very useful for jets, clearing up fuselage space that normally would have stored fuel. They are also useful as they can withstand the heat of atmospheric reentry, so they can be used on SSTOs. They were added along with 2 types of Big-S control surfaces, and the Big-S Wing Strake.
Product description
“ | The Big-S line of wings are C7's largest lifting surfaces to date. Not only are they Sturdy and heat resistant enough to survive reentry, but also have enough internal volume to carry optional fuel tanks. | ” |
