The SENTINEL Infrared Telescope is a telescope taken from the official SQUAD mod Asteroid Day.
In order for it to be used, it must be in a solar orbit (orbiting around the Sun). When activated, it will scan for and display asteroids that is in its closet planetary area. Eg: If it is closest to the Kerbin orbit, it will display the asteroids around Kerbin orbit.

Trivia
- The text "B-612" can be seen on the side of the telescope. This is a reference to the B-612 Foundation, a non profit foundation dedicated to discovering Near Earth Asteroids and defending Earth from them.
- SENTINEL in the name of the part is also a reference to the real life SENTINEL Space Telescope, which the B-612 Foundation wants to be put in Solar orbit near Venus to find asteroids that might threaten the Earth.
