The S1 SRB-KD25k is a solid rocket booster even larger than the Rockomax BACC Solid Fuel Booster. It has slightly more than twice the thrust of the BACC SRB and three times as much fuel.
The SRB-KD25k might be a reference to the Five-Segment Boosters, a component of Space Launch System.
Thrust can be regulated with tweakables, minimum required for booster to lift its own weight off Kerbin surface is 32.5%.
S1 SRB-KD25k is the only solid rocket booster with flag painted on it.
Description Contradiction
Even though the description states the booster is designed to be recovered it does not have any features conducive to recovery. It does not have high impact tolerance and as a solid rocket booster it is unable to be restarted for a soft touchdown and even empty is quite heavy requiring two parachutes to land it intact. In fact the equipment for recovery ends up costing more than the empty booster so the majority of the value recovered would be from the recovery equipment, not the booster itself!
Product description
