Advanced Reaction Wheel Module, Large
From Kerbal Space Program Wiki
Advanced S.A.S Module, Large/Box
The Advanced S.A.S Module, Large is a toggleable module that provides SAS functionality, a sort of autopilot to stabilize and help keep a rocket on course. The size 2 (2.5 meters in diameter) version is wider, shorter, and lighter than the old Inline Advanced Stabilizer (previously named Advanced S.A.S Module). With the redesign of the SAS in version 0.21.1 this part adds SAS functionality as well as torque to the craft.
Description
“ | After many years of research, STEADLER Corps rocket scientists discovered that Kerbal crewmembers just can't be trusted to keep a spacecraft under control. The Advanced S.A.S Module adresses that issue by correcting flight controls continuously. It is highly recommended that crewmembers are kept unaware of the presence of such a device, as experience shows that many Kerbals will see that as a 'challenge to their flying prowess'. — STEADLER Engineering Corps |

Before the SAS was redesigned and both ASAS module did the same thing the description said the following:
“ | A larger-scale version of the original STEADLER ASAS module. — STEADLER Engineering Corps |
