The C7 Brand Adapter - 2.5m to 1.25m is a liquid fuel tank containing liquid fuel and oxidizer. Along with the similar C7 Brand Adapter Slanted - 2.5m to 1.25m, it is an adapter that has a built-in liquid fuel tank. Although it is made by C7 Aerospace, it can be used in traditional rockets to replace the other adapters, which don't contain fuel.
It contains the same amount of fuel as the FL-T800 Fuel Tank and the Rockomax X200-8 Fuel Tank, but is heavier than both.
The similar C7 Brand Adapter Slanted - 2.5m to 1.25m is unsuited for use as a central core part, because it would lead to the rocket having a asymmetrical center of mass.

Usage
The C7 Brand Adapter is a liquid fuel tank containing LF/O mix. This allows it to power liquid fuel rocket engines, like the RE-L10 "Poodle" Liquid Fuel Engine. If there are multiple liquid fuel tanks connected to an engine, then they will all be drained equally to power it. [1] The C7 Brand Adapter can be placed both in-line and radially mounted.
When full, one tank can power a single LV-909 "Terrier" Liquid Fuel Engine for up to 225.6 seconds at full thrust, or a single RE-L10 "Poodle" Liquid Fuel Engine for up to 54.9 seconds at full thrust.
Like other adapters, the C7 Brand Adapter is used to transition a rocket from a 2.5m radius to a 1.25m radius.
