Usage
The Mk3 Liquid Fuel Fuselage Long is a liquid fuel tank containing only liquid fuel. It can be used to power jet engines, like the J-X4 "Whiplash" Turbo Ramjet Engine. Additionally, due to its large fuel capacity, it can be used to provide fuel to the LV-N "Nerv" Atomic Rocket Motor, which also only uses liquid fuel.
As an aircraft fuselage, it comes with two flat sides, which work well as attachment points for wings, fins, and landing gear. However, like other Mk2 and Mk3 parts, its mass ratio (8) is inferior to that of normal liquid fuel tanks (9), reducing delta-V.
When full, one tank can power a single LV-N "Nerv" Atomic Rocket Motor for up to 3268.0 seconds at full thrust.
Like many Mk3 parts, it has a high heat tolerance of 2700K to assist in spaceplane reentry.
