The Mk3 Cargo Bay CRG-1000 is a Mk3 cargo bay. It is twice the length of the Mk3 Cargo Bay CRG-50.

It is intended for use in Mk3-sized spaceplanes. Its interior is roughly 3 meters wide, 3.5 meters tall, and 10 meters long; it is about 33% longer than a Rockomax Jumbo-64 Fuel Tank. It can be used to transport spacecraft, segments of a space station, and other 2.5m cargo.

The Cargo Bay can be opened via the right-click PAW menu. If Advanced Tweakables are enabled, the bay's "Deploy Limit" can be adjusted; a smaller Deploy Limit will result in the bay doors opening only partially. The Cargo Bay has two attachment nodes on its interior, one on each end of the bay.

Product description

Originally we threw away the container the Rockomax Jumbo-64 tank came in, then one day a bright and upcoming engineer suggested we reuse them. He was promptly reallocated to another department and his boss came up with the brilliant idea of reusing these containers as cargo bays!
