The Pegasus I Mobility Enhancer is is a ladder kerbals can climb on during EVAs. It is the the shortest ladder of all stock parts.
Usage
When put on a ship it allows Kerbals to grab onto it and move vertically up or down it. Each 'part' contains three rungs of a ladder, so in order to traverse the length of a large rocket, or safely climb down to reach the surface you will need to use multiple units. You can space these out so that they have roughly the same spacing as seen in the part, your Kerbal will be able to safely transfer from one to the next. Kerbals are also smart enough to transfer to and from the integrated ladders on Command Pods and the two deployable ladders.
