The Mystery Goo™ Containment Unit is a science part used to expose a special goo to both atmosphere and vacuum, in an attempt to gain science. In career mode, it is available with Basic Rocketry, at level 2 of the technology tree.

Usage

The unit is activated either via action group or right clicking the container and clicking observe mystery goo. The unit cannot be reused after its results are transmitted, unless it is cleaned via the Mobile Processing Lab MPL-LG-2. Like EVA reports, the science gained from observing the Mystery Goo varies depending on different conditions in flight.

Description

This unit was something one of our engineers came upon while dumpster divin-- Erm, while researching alternative applications for existing technologies. It's a sealed container which appears to be filled with a strange-looking substance. We couldn't reach in or break the canister open, but watching how the Goo behaves when subjected to different situations could be very educational.
