The Mk3 Monopropellant Tank is a part introduced in version 0.90.0 and supplies monopropellant for RCS thrusters or similar.

Usage

It's used in spaceplanes built of fuselages of radial size Mk3. It stores 2100 units of monopropellant, far more than enough for a single docking maneuver. While the 100 units stored in a Mk3 Cockpit is enough for such maneuvers for an able pilot, this tank can be useful for resupplying space stations and other craft.

Like all fuel tanks the amount of fuel is tweakable and can be locked too. Locking is, again like all fuel tanks, still available while it's in a mission.

Product description

The reaction to when the reaction control system doesn't have enough control in the system; more monopropellant!
