The TD-37 Decoupler is a decoupler that allows for staging rockets vertically and in sequence. This part replaced the older TR-38-D, but works essentially the same and has a shorter visual profile.
Usage
The TD-376 adds a stage to the rocket and when activated will release the decoupler as well as anything attached to it, much like the TD-50 Decoupler. It remains attached to one side of the rocket - the side facing away from the arrow on the decoupler. It is used mainly for jettisoning spent stages or drop tanks with a 3.75m node.
Node Size
- 3.75m - decouple side (releases from upper attached part)
- 3.75m - non-decouple side (remains with lower attached part)
