As of now, the PPD-12 is best used in:
- Very heavy crafts where a heavy command module won't significantly affect the craft's performance.
- Anything that needs alot of torque to turn.
- Crafts with too many parts, where it can replace a few RCS thruster ports and battery packs.
To put things as simple as simple can be, the PPD-12 should be incorporated in heavy spacecraft with a bit too many parts, insufficient RCS fuel storage capacity and one or two electrically operated instruments which rarely need to be used, but require lots of power to be used.
Description
“ | The PPD-12 was developed to provide a high visibility control room for orbital stations, and a place for thoughtful Kerbals to contemplate the beauty of the cosmos. — Jebediah Kerman's Junkyard and Spaceship Parts Co. |

Trivia
- There is a photo of two Kerbonauts on the right side of the cockpit.
- A few sticky notes can be found as well:
“ | Left the emergency slide rule in the bottom right cabinet. B.K. P.S. I ate all the snacks — On the roll indicator |
” |
“ | Stop using bits of metal as fuses YOU HAVE SPARES! — On the fuse box |
