The Mk2 Clamp-O-Tron is a Mk2-sized built in docking port on the side of the vessel. Like the Clamp-O-Tron Shielded Docking Port it must be opened before docking. It is similar to the Inline Clamp-O-Tron but the main difference is its radial size and the Mk2 Clamp-O-Tron has a built-in monopropellant tank which the Inline Clamp-O-Tron doesn't have.
It was included in the Spaceplane Plus mod which was integrated into KSP 0.25.
Usage
It allows other parts to be placed on either side, so that the craft can maintain a streamlined profile, and also allows the crew move through. Compatibility
The Shielded docking port is the same diameter as the standard Clamp-O-Tron Docking Port, and therefore compatible with it. The different sizes of Clamp-O-Tron ports (standard, Jr. and Sr.) will not connect to each other. As it is not the only type of its class it can dock with other type docking ports like Clamp-O-Tron Docking Port, Inline Clamp-O-Tron and the Clamp-O-Tron Shielded Docking Port.
