Originally from the KSPX parts mod, the 48-7S "Spark" Liquid Fuel Engine is the non radial version of the 24-77 "Twitch" Liquid Fuel Engine.
Usage
Like the 24-77, LV-1 Liquid Fuel Engine, and LV-1R Liquid Fuel Engine, the 48-7S is intended to propel probes and small crewed craft, using light weight command pods and small fuel tanks large amounts of delta v can be achieved with little mass. Due to its relatively high Isp and thrust to weight ratio, the 48-7S is remarkably capable in ascent, transfer, and lander roles. Its thrust to weight ratio is second only to the Kerbodyne KR-2L Advanced Engine and the S3 KS-25x4 Engine Cluster
Product description
