The Rockomax "Poodle" Liquid Engine, formerly designated LV-909 Liquid Fuel Engine (Large)‏‎, is a size 2 (2.5 meter diameter) liquid fuel engine. It has a moderate thrust to weight ratio, offset by its relatively short height, high Isp and thrust, and wide gimbal range.

The primary intended role of this engine is for larger upper stages of rockets for orbital insertions, transfers, and landings. In the past, it has been outperformed in these by LV-T30 Liquid Fuel Engines and clusters of LV-909 Liquid Fuel Engines, though this is no longer the case.

Product description

A more reasonable engine for rough economic times, the Poodle engine doubles as a BBQ when at low power.
