The Mk2 Lander-can is a Command Module housing two Kerbal crew members during their mission.
Usage
Generally placed at the top of the rocket as part of a lander, the Mk2 Lander-can provides full command module functionality. It features large radial size nodes on top and bottom.
Due to its superior visibility to the other pods, the Lander-can is generally used when doing IVA landings.
Keep in mind that the Lander-can has an impact tolerance of merely 8 m/s, making it the most fragile of all command pods, along with its smaller version, the Mk1 Lander Can. That means direct contact with the ground should be avoided, and a landing gear or at least a more stable component should be used to protect it.
Description
