Originally from the KSPX parts mod, the Rockomax 48-7S is the non radial version of the Rockomax 24-77.

Usage

Like the 24-77, LV-1 Liquid Fuel Engine, and LV-1R Liquid Fuel Engine, the 48-7S is intended to propel probes and small crewed craft, using light weight command pods and small fuel tanks large amounts of delta v can be achieved with little mass. Due to its relatively high Isp and thrust to weight ratio, the 48-7S is remarkably capable in ascent, transfer, and lander roles. Its thrust to weight ratio is second only to the Kerbodyne KR-2L Advanced Engine and the S3 KS-25x4 Engine Cluster

Product description

The 48-7S may be small, but it packs quite a punch for its size. This little engine is a testament to how larger does not always means more advanced, at least according to Rockomax's marketing department. The box it comes in is pretty cool, in any case.
