The O-10 "Puff" MonoPropellant Fuel Engine is the only monopropellant reaction engine with throttle control.
Product description
“ | When The O-10 Engine was first unveiled, it was regarded as one of those ideas that someone should have thought of a long time ago. This made most employees at Reaction Systems Ltd feel quite awkward, as they were particularly proud of having delivered this project on schedule for once. This Engine responds to main throttle controls, but it consumes MonoPropellant instead of a Fuel+Oxidizer mix. — Reaction Systems Ltd |

Usage
The engine has throttle control and does not react to commands for the normal RCS. It shows a monopropellant fuel meter beside the staging icon.
Because monopropellant does not require plumbing to transfer the fuel from the tank to the engines, it is possible to place that engine on any part.
Because this part does not work like the regular RCS thrusters, Infinite Fuel, as opposed to Infinite RCS, needs to be activated in the Debug Toolbar to have infinite fuel.
Trivia
- The part configuration is in a directory named OMSEngine which might be a reference to the Space Shuttle's Orbital Maneuvering System which used a hypergolic fuel to perform orbital maneuvers. The term “OMS engines” has also been used to refer to it in at least the version 0.25 changelog.
- This engine was a very OP engine until the "physicsignificance" flag change in 1.0.1.
Changes
- New model and texture
- Remodeled to a larger size
- Added gimbal
- Rescaled size
- Initial release
